Canandaigua Medical Society
Founded in 1864 as The Society of Physicians of the Village of Canandaigua, the Canandaigua Medical Society is the nation’s oldest continually-meeting medical society west of the Hudson River.
September through June, the society meets monthly for a group dinner. Members take turns hosting and presenting papers.
Since 1864, the Society has aimed to promote the scientific improvement and social fellowship of its members, and to preserve the unity and maintain the dignity and honor of the profession.
Join CMS
Canandaigua Medical Society has a vibrant membership that is actively growing. Physicians in the area are welcomed to join CMS and participate in its long-standing tradition of providing enrichment and community to doctors.
